  • So dismayed to see the condition of my mother's grave. It would have killed my 94 year old father if he had seen it. He says' "The back should look as nice as the front of the cemetery." Horribly saddened by what I saw. It's obvious in these two photos.
  • They still stand at attention. Others have laid down their arms. The Santa Fe National Cemetery is an honor. There is a lot to be said about the men and women who gave their lives in the service of the United States to protect you and to protect me. The Santa Fe National Cemetery is a reminder of the many Americans who invested their lives in their country
  • Clean, quiet, and a beautiful resting place for the departed. I didn't really care about veteran cemeteries until my Uncle passed away. When I saw the amount of veterans who have been laid to rest here, I grew an understanding on how important it is to keep the cemetary clean and alive to show respect for those who fought so hard to not only protect the freedom of the world, but to secure the joyful and comfortable life we can take for granted. The Santa Fe National Cemetery pays respect to the veterans through it's clean, lush green grass and upkeep. I say thank you to all of the friendly staff to make me know that my Uncle is in caring hands.
  • Some of the employees are nice expectionly Robert who is very nice and helpful
  • I am a 5th Generation from Santa Fe. All of my vast relatives are buried here on both sides military and civilian. After serving 20 yrs in the United States Air Force, I too will be laid to rest here in this beautiful cemetery. Along with my wife.

Where to stay in Santa Fe

Though the downtown area contains most of Santa Fe's finest hotels, you can find plenty of equally comfortable inns and motels just outside this busy central district. Remember also that most of the city's centrally located hotels raise their prices during the height of the tourist season, so it is essential to look for deals and make reservations well in advance. To experience the true spirit of outdoor New Mexico while on holiday, consider sleeping under the stars at a campground just a short drive from Santa Fe's major urban attractions.
