  • It is small and a little dated, but our kids had fun. Hit a discount to get in, but would not been worth it at full price.  more »
  • Best for preschoolers and early elementary kids....lots and lots of fun. My granddaughter went often as a toddler.  more »
  • I brought my 5- and 2-year-olds here to spend a few hours on a morning so they could get tired out and nap while I went to some museums later that day. The museum is a fantasic place with a variety of...  more »

  • It's a great museum. It's tiny but somehow you can spend hours here. There is a great toddler area. Restrooms are clean. If you have a SNAP card, admission is $3 (2017), otherwise, I'd consider it pricy and probably wouldn't come.
  • Came here a ton when I was little and always had a blast, recently revisited and it still feels like a great place to be a kid in.
  • A great place in a city that does not always have a lot of options for young children
  • We love this place. There's lots of activities as well as a large variety of things to do from splashing around in some water. Playing in sand with lots of toys, creating lots of things with learning toys, climbing, science experiments, and to much more to list. It's pretty inexpensive for a family of 3 or 4 for what you get. The facility is pretty clean and the bathrooms were also nice and clean.
  • The place needs more funding. And it shows. There's still a great time to be had for the younger kids.

Where to stay in Santa Fe

Though the downtown area contains most of Santa Fe's finest hotels, you can find plenty of equally comfortable inns and motels just outside this busy central district. Remember also that most of the city's centrally located hotels raise their prices during the height of the tourist season, so it is essential to look for deals and make reservations well in advance. To experience the true spirit of outdoor New Mexico while on holiday, consider sleeping under the stars at a campground just a short drive from Santa Fe's major urban attractions.
