  • This center is easy to find and not far from downtown Santa Fe -- just get on Canyon Road and follow it to the end. It is well worth the drive -- especially in October when the autumn color is at its ...  more »
  • this is a wonderful place to hike and enjoy the outdoors in santa fe. the randall davey house is a historic artist house, the grounds are wonderful, and, of course, you can get married here!
  • The museum/house is closed Sundays. Which means there are about 5 places to park, I took the 4th. I walked for an hour 20 minutes and could hardly tear myself away. Very quiet. There was a bench in th...  more »

  • So natural. Easy to walk trails. Great facility.
  • Fabulous staff and we'll maintained grounds. Many activities for naturalists, and especially good for birding.
  • great little getaway in town. borrow a pair of binoculars and get some fresh air.
  • Nice hiking trails
  • What a great place! My husband and I were in the Santa Fe area and happened upon this place while checking out general birding in a Google search. We found the Center and took a short hike, and signed up for a Saturday morning birding field trip. It was great! Of the 12 or so people there, all but the two volunteers leading the trip were from out of state, like we were, just passing through. Great birding, very friendly and knowledgeable guides (Corkey and Warren), and perfect chilly weather for winter birding in the southwest. Great place with LOTS of bird activity! If you're in the Santa Fe area and are a birder, DO make one of their Saturday 8:30 AM field trips. We were actually spending the night before up in Los Alamos, but it was well worth getting up very early and driving back down to Santa Fe to join this field trip! The bonus was the fabulous scenery of all the red-rock mesas in the early morning light!
