  • Considering how Santa Fe is an international art mecca the New Mexico Museum of Art isn't grand and doesn't have a vast collection. This museum however is quite nice and has several pieces which showcases New Mexican art. Worth a visit.
  • New Mexican art museum nice gift shop and pretty court yard and building
  • Small collection, not particularly engaging works or exhibits. For New Mexican art, the capitol building is a better bet
  • Not a large museum but very unusual art work. Enjoy our visit. Like the history museum better.
  • Nice museum but the guy follow you around like you are a criminal take away the experience...

Where to stay in Santa Fe

Though the downtown area contains most of Santa Fe's finest hotels, you can find plenty of equally comfortable inns and motels just outside this busy central district. Remember also that most of the city's centrally located hotels raise their prices during the height of the tourist season, so it is essential to look for deals and make reservations well in advance. To experience the true spirit of outdoor New Mexico while on holiday, consider sleeping under the stars at a campground just a short drive from Santa Fe's major urban attractions.
