  • Located next the the marcy fort, a great walk up to the cross takes you past multiple history palques expalining Santa Fe history
  • Our hotel was walking distance to the Cross of the Martyrs. This is an interesting hike and leads to another park. There are plaques that provide an overview of the history of the city.
  • Did you know that there is an "original" Cross of the Martyrs too? This one is metal, the "real one" is cement. Nice views from both. Safe, but sometimes a hangout for stoners, teens and "others" ... ...  more »

  • Nice view of the surroundings. While going up you can learn quite a bit about the history of Santa Fe. Unfortunately there is o much left of fort macey.
  • Interesting location, great on Santa Fe. Also, can learn a little history from plates installed along the pathway.
  • Beautiful view overlooking Santa Fe, right next to the remains of the old fort which overlooked the city.
  • Nice little walk up to the cross and great views of the city and surrounding areas.
  • You do get a sense of the Santa Fe story on this historical walkway. The trail is marked with details about Santa Fe's discovery, settlement and growth. A nice climb on a nice day with benches along the way.
