  • My adult stepson and I had a wonderful time exploring this smaller museum, yet is so full of life and wonder! The displays inspire visitors of any age to learn, read and discover. Very beautiful and s...  more »
  • Much about the ethnic and cultural history of the Santa Cruz area, with very interesting objects. The special exhibits were interesting as well. I stayed more than an hour.
  • First Friday of every month is free admission at the MAH. Fun to see what they are working on. Strangely, they sell you wine, but when you want to walk around to see the exhibits, they ask you to leav...  more »

  • This is one of my new favorite museums of all time. It's a small-ish museum that does double duty as both an art and a history museum but it does it well and does it in such a way as to make it look like, say, the Getty or the Guggenheim. I really mean it. The exhibits were so skilfully selected and it was just a tremendously fun time spending the evening there and I look forward to coming again.
  • I LOVE our 'new' Museum! I finally joined MAH after discovering how rich this place has become with events for all populations. There is constant activity here, and something for everyone. Usually low-cost to get in, and as a member, some stuff is free. This is a local gem in our community, bringing diverse, relevant, and entertaining events to Santa Cruz.
  • Love this place. A lot of local exhibits.
  • Absolutely beautiful, and a fantastic venue for a wedding!
  • Has really cheap admission especially for students and kids. Lots of free events and rotate displays on a good schedule. Staff is really nice.
