The four sections at Holiday World & Splashin' Safari allow you to partake in amusement park rides, food, and music all themed around a different major holiday. The complex's unusual name comes from the inspiration of its host town, Santa Claus, Indiana. You can travel through areas dedicated to Christmas, Thanksgiving, Halloween, and the Fourth of July as you progress through the park, regardless of the time of year. Thrill-seekers can indulge in the three classic wooden roller coasters, a signature attraction. Don't miss the site's water park, which offers water slides, wave pools, and what's claimed to be the world's longest water coaster rides. A visit to Holiday World & Splashin' Safari represents just the start of the adventure when you use our Santa Claus holiday planner to plot your vacation.

  • We had a very good experience at Holiday World because of the awesome salesperson (Rachel) that helped us. She showed us the exact camper we wanted to see. The purchase was hassle free, and the camper was prepped and super clean (inside and out) when we picked it up. Rachel graciously gave us a nice Scentsy gift to welcome us to our new home away from home. :)
  • Such an EXCELLENT park! This was my first visit and there was a lot that can be said about this park. The culture of the park is immediately noticed upon entering. The staff at Holiday World are SUPER friendly. In addition, you won't get heckled down the midways to play any of the games. The rides are very well maintained and give you a variety of choices from coasters to flat rides. You also wont see restrooms littered with trash/toilet paper. They are obviously VERY family oriented. The park offers free drinks, sunscreen, inner tubes, and Wi-Fi. A tip I would give to first-timers is to actually look at the park map and figure out where the sunscreen stations are. Until you seek one out they're not completely noticeable outside of the water park. Also, I do not believe the park sells alcohol. Wasn't an issue for me but its noteworthy if you're looking for the liquid courage to ride some of the scarier rides.
  • This is my favorite theme park yet. I've been to Kings Island and a couple of Six Flags parks, but Holiday World is the best by far. The layout of the park, the cleanliness of the park, the work done by the staff, and the quality of the rides makes this such a great place. If you're debating on which park to go to, choose Holiday World. Note: Make sure to go through the week. The crowds are much smaller.
  • Had a great time. This visit was for a work sponsored event. There were several companies at the park and it was very hot. The staff were very accommodating, especially in the water park. They poured water from the water slides onto the steps to keep people's feet from burning. Free soft drinks, good food (for theme park food), great water park. Lines were actually not too long considering the crowd.
  • I can't say enough how much fun my family had here. The water park was great and exceeded my expectations. There was plenty to do there. The 'dry' park had a lot to do, too. There are lots of kid-friendly attractions here, so my 4 and 5 year old kids had the best time. For those of you who collect smashed pennies, they have three machines in the park! I cannot wait to go back. I wish I lived closer!!!!
