Holiday World & Splashin' Safari, Santa Claus
(4.6/5 based on 1,900+ reviews on the web)
The four sections at Holiday World & Splashin' Safari allow you to partake in amusement park rides, food, and music all themed around a different major holiday. The complex's unusual name comes from the inspiration of its host town, Santa Claus, Indiana. You can travel through areas dedicated to Christmas, Thanksgiving, Halloween, and the Fourth of July as you progress through the park, regardless of the time of year. Thrill-seekers can indulge in the three classic wooden roller coasters, a signature attraction. Don't miss the site's water park, which offers water slides, wave pools, and what's claimed to be the world's longest water coaster rides. A visit to Holiday World & Splashin' Safari represents just the start of the adventure when you use our Santa Claus holiday planner to plot your vacation.

  • Family friendly atmosphere and things to do for all ages. The new launched wing roller coaster is amazing. Although you will walk a lot and stand in lines for a decent time, most attractions are worth the wait. Free parking and sunscreen is great to go along with free drinks. Their wooden roller coasters are world class.
  • We visited Holiday World this fall after an earlier visit in the summer. The first visit was at a time when the water park was open and lines were longer for many rides. Our October visit was great! The park is Halloween themed and decorated throughout very nicely and was very clean. While it was a busy day, lines moved quickly and all rides were open. There's a wide choice of foods and even a gluten free pizza option. Prices seemed reasonable considering that all drinks are free. I definitely recommend Holiday World for a fun family getaway.
  • Seriously love holiday world!! We volunteered several times this summer. We went as guests probably 5 times. My daughter engorged all the rides. She started rides at 6 months. The dishes are the best.
  • One of my favorite summer destinations for a day of fun and relaxation. Great rides and fun, family friendly atmosphere. I do have to say though thay current management needs to work on the conduct of workers. When Pat Koch ran the park, staff were always helpful, friendly, and smiling. Now they're inconsistent, rude, and slow. Also, the park is not nearly as clean as it used to be. I've found vomit on toilet seats that were clearly supposed to have been hosed off among other litter and filth. Also, the price hike in tickets are unappreciated as quality of service has slackened greatly. Overall, though. It's a fun time and a must for me and my family every season!
  • Loving going to holiday world. It's one of the cleanest and best kept parks I've ever been to. It's extremely affordable and a must visit if you're into wooden roller coasters.
