  • While the rides are fun and exciting, this park lacks some personality. The people running the rides are meant to pump you up and excite you about the ride. About 80% of them sound like they'd rather be sleeping. The park also needs to find ways to make the wait in line more engaging. I was more focused on how hot it was rather than anticipating the ride. There's more that can be said but overall I thinl they need to invest a bit more on that Park to make it a 5 star experience. If you're only there for the rides you'll be good. I need more out of the experience.
  • BEST TIP- Download the Six Flags App. Wait times are indicated and can save you a ton of waiting in line! Wear comfortable shoes; you will be on your feet all day. Buy and print your tickets online and you will have one less long line to contend with. Friday and Saturday are going to be busy. You are better off going during the week, or Sunday, to avoid longer wait times. Usually, the newer the ride, the longer the lines. You can find that information online so, during busier times, you can ride some older, but still great, roller coasters. X2 and Tatsu are super scary! Twisted Colossus is a must ride (sit in the back).
  • If you like thrill rides, this place is AMAZING. Six Flags Magic Mountain is a metal garden of world class roller coasters. I am lucky to call this my home park. Endless world record coasters. The lines are horrendous but the flash pass program is worth the extra fee. You can ride all of the rides you want if you have a flash pass or get lucky and go on the rare quiet day. This park is not much to look at. They don't try very hard to make it pretty. Who needs fluff when you have the best rides.
  • The roller coasters were fun, but I was really tired that day and after you have already been to Disney 3 days on your vacation, it just isn't good. The staff are not very friendly, the bathrooms are disgusting, even on a Wednesday the lines are long and move slowly. If you like waiting 40 minutes for every single ride you go on, go here because that's all you will wait in. I'm fine with 40 minutes every once in a while but they start to drive you crazy when you do it all day. Even if the line doesn't appear to be long, it will be because they are super slow. If you took the amount of people in line and gave them to Disney Cast Members, the wait would be less than 10 minutes. Save your money and go to Disneyland instead and even if they don't have as many good roller coasters there, they are still fun and at least the staff there are friendly and the bathrooms aren't a dump.
  • Been here many times. Haven't been back in the last 5-6 years and they definitely made some new changes as far as new rides and spectacles. Everything is heavily DC themed now so a lot of the older rides had their names changed to reflect DC superheroes. The old Colossus ride has been revamped to a new twisted colossus and is arguably better than the previous design. Overall come on a weekday to avoid the crowds.
