For a day of thrilling rides on some of the country's fastest roller coasters, visit Six Flags Magic Mountain. Featuring nine themed areas, the park contains nine zones each with its own distinct rides, attractions, and food venues. You can choose to spend a day in the American wilderness, visit a world filled with comic book superheroes, or attend a county fair atmosphere packed with carnival-style games. The park's roller coasters offer rides suitable for all ages, from low-speed train trips through scenic landscapes, to hair-raising plunges off a 15 m (50 ft) waterfall. Visit the movie-inspired section to catch live-action stunt shows, drive bumper cars, or traverse six upside-down turns (while standing up) on 1,300 m (4,300 ft) of steel track. A visit to Six Flags Magic Mountain represents just the start of the adventure when you use our Santa Clarita travel itinerary maker to plot your vacation.

  • Our group went for one day in september which has limited opening hours (only weekends) lines were 1-2+hours/ride so in one day you really need to think which rides you really want to go. Unless you b...  read more »

  • Loved the Park. Cheap, affordable, the toys are great and great place to spend time when you don't have anything to do, good for couples, friends and families, the lines aren't so long:)

  • This place is amazing, depending on the time and day you go, you will experience different wait times. I recommend going on a weekday since many people work and/or at school, the wait times will be anywhere from 20 minutes to 1hour. Usually if you go on the weekend, it gets pretty packed by 1pm, then the wait times are from 1-4 hours. The earlier you go, the better. Food is pretty decent. I'll admit the prices are sort of expensive. For instance, a regular sized Gatorade bottle at a machine is $5. But other than that, it is fun for people usually in their teens and early-mid age groups.
  • Started off pretty good. Cost $150 for me and my daughter. We tried to get on the rides but the lines were 60 to 90 minutes long. Horrible heat and waits. Bought fast pass. 160 more.
  • Probably one of the best amusement parks I've been to. They have a TON of roller coasters and on a regular day, we couldn't even hit them all. They are all pretty entertaining/fun for grown ups, which is nice, because a lot of parks now a days just have a lot of kiddie coasters. The food is way overpriced, but that's not unique to this amusement park.
  • Rides and rollercoasters are fantastic. I saw an awesome live show in the steampunk theatre. Great live performances outdoors. Season pass and dining pass are super affordable. Merchandise stores have good stuff available for purchase. Companion app has lots of coupons and useful coaster line wait-time information to help make the most out of your trip.
  • I bought 4 season passes for myself, wife, niece and nephew last Christmas. We've been a few times since then. The first time was *awesome* because we splurged on the flash pass. Subsequent trips were less awesome. The food choices are absolutely abysmal. I really wanted this to be special. I remember coming to Magic Mountain as a kid and how awesome it was. It just seems like the park isn't what it once was. Maybe having season passes to Disneyland has made everything else dull in comparison. I will not be renewing my passes here, and don't even get me started on how awful the water park is. *if* you do want to come here, and you can manage it, get the flash pass. You won't regret it.
