  • If you want to leave your heart at the door then Magic Mountain is for you. The rides take you off the seats, meaning hang time, the speed and excitement of the twists and drops, it truly is a day whe...  more »
  • It's disorganized (took 1 hour just to get in!) not well managed (long lines, frequent stoppages) and full of pot smoking teens. Cheaper than Disney though (hence the pot smoking teens).
  • First 2 days were amazing except for the food lines. The third day was a holiday and everyone seemed to go then. all lines were rough.

  • Best place no doubt about. Been here many times that I own a gold pass and i will always have a good experience in this place. Tickets and season passes a more fair than other attractions places. Great for families, school, groups of friends, and couples. Food can be pricey just like any other park attraction but with a dining pass, the food can be free. Great to visit in the summer specially hurricane harbor which is right next to six flags. They have their own Halloween events and a must go in the Christmas season. Overall it's an amazing place to go!!!
  • Magic Mountain is the best value amusement park in Southern California. The season pass is great for anyone who lives within an hour drive. Coupled with a parking pass and a dining pass, you have a fully paid weekend vacation for the family for a whole year. The rides are on the intense side, but there is a kiddie park for the young ones. Food is your average park fare, and nothing special. Employees can be wonderful or surly, depending on your luck. They are teenagers, after all. I have been coming here since the 90's. The quality of the park has improved a lot since then. Definitely a family friendly place.
  • Fantastic park for cheap thrills. Considering the premium quality of the attractions, the price is a bargain (considering nearby Knott's berry farm being smaller and Disneyland costing far more as comparisons). The season pass beverage cups and dining passes are fantastic values for people planning to visit more than a few times a year. We happen to drive by about one a month anyway so it's a killer deal for my family.
  • So I had a blast while I was there. They aren't very accommodating however. The no outside food or drink is kind of ridiculous, and they need to figure a way to not allow in the ghetto crowds. The fastpasses could definitely be included in the ticket price like Disneyland. But the fact that platinum allowed me to skip the lines almost completely on a super busy day, I'm not knocking it too much. But still. $250 for one day is a lot.
  • I went for Fright Fest. I had an amazing time! The rollercoasters are horrifyingly amazing. The scare zones were so creative and fun (I don't scare easily). If a go back to LA, this is a go-to. Only concerns were the extremely long lines (some went faster than others) and that I wasted $8 on a transferable locker but it wasn't necessary at some of the rides. I'd definitely just buy a locker as I need it unless I'm going to be at the park all day and night.
