  • We were looking for this kind of view of the Pacific, just didnt really know where it would be. As we took our long trip along the PCH from San Diego to Santa Barbara, we ended the last evening at Sho...  more »
  • I ride my bike past Shoreline weekly and it is always packed. Still parking is possible on side streets. Wonderful setting, grass area, bbq pits, children's play area and walking path.
  • Make sure you don't get trapped in one of the inlets between the cliffs when the tide starts to rise, but otherwise you can have a good time with a friend or a love or kids running from inlet to inlet...  more »

  • The best place in the morning to go for a run if you live downtown. I love walking down the stairs and watch on the beach. I also love seeing my furry friends!! Great place to go for a meditating walk as well. You will see others running as well!! And many say hi to each other :)!
  • Very nice area to walk on beach. Ocean was amazing!
  • This park is located on a long and narrow strip strip of land along the ocean that allows you take in some breathtaking views. The park has a lot to offer, as it has playgrounds, restrooms, BBQ grills, picnic areas, and plenty of beautiful grass. The park is always clean and you are able to see the ocean from every single spot on the park. Although you are able to see the ocean, the park is not directly on the beach since it is on a coastal bluff, but there are stairs that you can take in order to go down to the beach. During migrating season, you may be lucky enough to catch some whales swimming by and there is always the potential for seeing dolphins and sea lions.
  • Wonderful views of the foothills of Santa Barbara. Above city college and leadbetter beach.
  • This is a little neighborhood park up on the bluff in SB. It has a couple benches to sit and eat and some basic equipment. The view is nice and it it pretty clean. I would not rave about the place but you can have a great little picnic and throw a Frisbee a bit. The location is pretty good to keep the bums from infesting it. You kind of have to drive there so you wont be assaulted with a bunch of young looser people with dreadlocks asking you for cash to buy a drink or some drugs or food for their dog....
