  • This is one of the most picturesque harbors in the world! Sure. It may be missing a dramatic bridge and an opera house, but the small town charm and Mediterranean climate is second to none. A perfect example however of where not to build a harbor because it needs constant dredging. Regardless a trip to Santa Barbara is incomplete without a visit to this interesting place with tremendous views of the dramatic coastline and towering peaks of the Santa Ynez range. It is common to see dolphins, seals, many types of birds, and incredible sea life. You can take the little your harbor shuttle to Stearns wharf and back.Try Brophy brothers if you can get in. I saw Barack Obama there recently as he enjoyed a tray of shrimp and clams. I heard Prince Harry and the Duchess make secret visits for their favorite seafood. Within walking distance of tilted towers you can do the electric slide all the way there. Enjoy
  • Always a good time. Shops to visit. Restaurant's to eat and have a drink at. Great views of Santa Barbara harbor, the mountains and the sea. What else can one ask for on such a sunny great day!! :) ♡♡
  • Good view and beach access. Great view of the ocean. They also have lots of good restaurants. It's a nice family spot.
  • Super clean, super friendly people. The Harbor Patrol takes the cleanliness of the marina seriously and I appreciate that. MDR is pretty dirty in comparison so it's a very clear the HP efforts are effective. Brophy's has good food if you need a place to eat in the marina (we ate there twice in three days), and The Brewhouse also has good food just off State street. This is a great marina with lots to do and see. Say Hi to people you pass on the docks, you'll almost always get a friendly response.
  • Beautiful place to chill after a long week. A few restaurants, few shops, right by the beach
