  • Building from Sanibel Island have been moved to one location and set up as a village. They are open about the fact these building where moved here to save them. It's informative, but a little cutisy for me.
  • This is a MUST visit if you are into the history of Sanibel. The tour is really neat and showcases the buildings of early Sanibel. The staff is friendly and helpful. Really makes you appreciate the island and how it became.
  • You learn many interesting details of Sanibel
  • We walked around after hours & did a free self guided tour by reading the markers at each stop. It's $10/adult, kids are free if you go while it's open. I don't think the kids would have enjoyed a paid tour as much.
  • Best to do this early in your visit to fully appreciate the island
