San-Lee Park reviews
Hiked here for the first time with our dogs. LOVED the trails! These are not wide, groomed paths but actual trails winding through the woods and up and down hills. Real hiking in a small park... more »
The bridges are a mess! They are not maintained properly. I have talked to numerous people regarding the safety of ones using the hiking trails. The trails are amazing the place is beautiful but the..... more »
The hiking trail is not meant for little children or the faint at heart. Path is not maintained very well. They do have paddle boats to ride. A small park for children along with a small creek. more »
My Company did a rental at their recreation center. The facility was modern, kitchen equiped. I loved the point that the room was well lite with open windows. I also love the fact that the building were the rental was had a Nature Center. Everyone had a great time. It's a lovely park and it has a paddle boat section.
The park is very convenient to Sanford and provides lots to see and do. We did trail loops around upper and lower reservoirs. The trails were all passable however one of the bridges was not for faint if heart. It looked like it was severely damaged by high water. We got across one at a time.
It's always a great place to visit. If your child wants to play on the swing set, look inside at the exhibits see the owl, snakes or other creatures that were found in the park, go for a hike across the bridge, feed ducks or go fishing or take a paddle boat ride, THIS PLACE HAS IT. There is also a gazobo available to rent, grills to cook out upon, and camp sites for rent at reasonable prices. It's a pretty place to take a picnic because they do have tables and grills available to use. I would recommend visiting San Lee Park.
One of the best trail parks around. Very big & a lot of different trails to choose from . Fishing. & Bike trails as well as other Trails for hikers. You can get lost in this for hours.
Very Beautiful park to go see and explore. Very well maintained and great little visitor area to see some of the wildlife in the area. If your in the area definitely stop and check it out
