Hiked here for the first time with our dogs. LOVED the trails! These are not wide, groomed paths but actual trails winding through the woods and up and down hills. Real hiking in a small park... more »

The hiking trail is not meant for little children or the faint at heart. Path is not maintained very well. They do have paddle boats to ride. A small park for children along with a small creek. more »

My Company did a rental at their recreation center. The facility was modern, kitchen equiped. I loved the point that the room was well lite with open windows. I also love the fact that the building were the rental was had a Nature Center. Everyone had a great time. It's a lovely park and it has a paddle boat section.

The park is very convenient to Sanford and provides lots to see and do. We did trail loops around upper and lower reservoirs. The trails were all passable however one of the bridges was not for faint if heart. It looked like it was severely damaged by high water. We got across one at a time.

It's always a great place to visit. If your child wants to play on the swing set, look inside at the exhibits see the owl, snakes or other creatures that were found in the park, go for a hike across the bridge, feed ducks or go fishing or take a paddle boat ride, THIS PLACE HAS IT. There is also a gazobo available to rent, grills to cook out upon, and camp sites for rent at reasonable prices. It's a pretty place to take a picnic because they do have tables and grills available to use. I would recommend visiting San Lee Park.
