Morgan Falls Overlook Park Reviews
There is a playground area and lots of benches for watching the kids. It is right next to the water. It is a local park with free parking in January. The map shows a trail, but I could not find it. On... more »

I was totally amazed when a friend took me to this park. There was ample parking, boat rentals for the lake, a playground which included swings for people in wheelchairs! I enjoyed most the benches wh... more »
We have been twice to the park in last 5 weeks, there is some type of construction happening so the paved ramp to walk down by the water is closed, Parking isn't great, it's very crowded. We went on a Saturday and on a Sunday. The big padded playground is nice for kids and a big variety of things to play on. There is a nice large covered pavilion with lots of tables and and some grills. Unsure if these require a reservation but it's nice for a family cookout, but it's right by the playground and the walking path so people are back and forth and all around you so not for a privacy party. A short paved walking path takes you to swings situated for a nice view around the lake. It's a great spot for some pictures. I did see joggers on a trail in a wooded area up on the hill but we didn't go on the trails so I am unsure about those. I gave 3 stars only because this is all I have seen of the park, so what I saw was a very small area, overcrowded, and the small parking area was horrible. I would hope to find a better park to enjoy with my family.
It is a very nice public park. Overseeing the river with a large kids playground and sitting area with family size.wooden swings. Good to go and relax. Only downside is the garbage floating around the floating platform. That's quite disgusting.
Checked this out with my wife on a Monday morning. Beautiful, well maintained place. There are public bathrooms, hiking paths, bench swings, a dog park, and great views. There is a play ground with astroturf for the kiddies. One side of park has overlook of the lake with the swings and some good historical placards and the other side has the fenced in areas for dogs (one side under 25 lbs. and one side over 25 lbs.) With a boat launch and beautiful views of the same. We were there about an hour just taking it in. I'm sure you could stay longer if you did some hiking.
We love this place l. The first reason is that my kid loves it and second it’s really beautiful. Lots of options available like fishing, kayaking, walking through a beautiful trail, etc. A big canopy is there for parties. Barbecue options available too. Fire place and swings make it even more beautiful.
Great time with the open field, playground, picnic area, a dock for fishing, and trails. Scenic all times of the year and with plenty of space for different activities. I personally loved leading on the trails with family. The trials had reasonable inclines though they were close to the water so hikers need be cautious for slipping and rolling down hills to the lake. Overall a beautiful and scenic park with great options for all ages and interests
