  • I love this place. A lot of fun. But only a thing is not good. Beach pretty far to walk from parking lot. And blue road is not long enough. And also you can visit Lighthouse and historical places which is Fort Hancock.
  • Excellent experience. We are going again in 2017. Get in shape for the half mile walk.
  • Dear Gunnison, we're coming back! Took a day trip, and planning a 3 Day trip again in August. The camera/cell phones are getting out-of-hand, and the complaint to the lifeguards went as figured ("it's a public beach, so people can take pictures if they want to"). Some public shaming sent the culprits on their way. Otherwise, an awesome day with awesome weather!
  • Nice clean beaches. Long biking paths. Lots of historic sites to see. Reasonably priced parking. Has a few bars on the island as well
  • for a fun and cool time this beach is all that and more, just remember is a naked beach! have a great time ! respect others ;
