  • Park calls itself the capital of the roller coaster, and with that we could not agree more! It is in this park several times first invented the fastest, highest and other "top" slides:) It is best to come to the Park early in the morning, if possible, be sure to buy fast lane. In the morning it's better to go to the far side of the Park, as long as there's no queues, and the evening better than a rollercoaster ride closer to the exit:) The most terrible and beloved: millenium force, maverick, valravant, dragster (must ride!)

  • I had never been to Halloweekends until this year and I have to say I was really impressed. They do a fabulous job from heads to tails and we will definitely return. I absolutely love CP but I have to...  more »

  • The best roller coaster park there is. This made my summer and if I wasn't a poor college student I would go here every month. Fantastic rides for all ages, including the mother thrilling, goofy, and wonderful coasters there are. The staff is super nice and the lines really aren't as bad as I have seen in other parks, which may be just because of the sheer amount of rides there are. Don't wear bad shoes though, this park is quite massive. Also it has super pretty views.
  • Has to be one of the worst experiences I've had here. Waited 2 hours to park. Waited 1 hour to get tickets and get it. Paid over $100 for two people with coupons. Waited over 3 hours for a ride and it shuts down as I get to the front. Waited 2 hours for fries and a drink just for my fries to be RAW and drink warm and they did nothing when I mentioned it. Just went to the next customer. The staff had no sympathy for anyone by taking their time at the register and didn't even say sorry to the upset customers and the cooks had more than enough fryers to accommodate almost half the line yet they didn't. It's just sad you pay so much money just to waste it all away coming here. I would have gladly spent the money n went to Kennywood!!!! I will never be back and will discourage everyone I talk to from coming here!!!
  • I went here in August and stayed for 3 days the hotel is very nice but a bit over priced. The entire place is super clean and the staff were very helpful. The roller coasters are amazing, many are in my top 10. My favorite roller coaster of all time is Maverick which is in Frontier Town section of the park. The food is very good, especially the fries and funnel cake. The days I went the park was empty so lines were not an issue and we got on every roller coaster at least twice each day. The only roller coaster that had a long line was Valravn but it wasn't that good so we just did it twice on that trip. Over all I had a super fun time! I'm already getting ready to go back next year! I totally recommend this place to anyone who likes roller coasters and rides.
  • My favorite amusement park. Love top thrill and maverick. My wife got stuck on the hill of millennium force and it was a very traumatic experience for her. I think they could have done better by communicating with them better because they were getting scared up there. Also, I had no idea if she was up there or waiting in the front of the line (I was waiting with our 3 year old).
  • Amazing park. Have enjoyed it my whole life. Those who complain about the prices...if you're that concerned, carpool and pack your lunch! How could the park produce any more world class rides if they didn't make money? Excellent value if you know what you're doing!
