  • Spent a lot of time here with my kids. Great place to ski or snowboard. Awesome photo opps winter and summer.
  • Have had a few really great stays at the resort in the past, but our last visit just didn't feel the same. People partying and loud until 4 a.m; broken hot tubs, nothing more than 'sorry' offered in r...  read more »
  • We have spent time up at switzer in both summer and in winter - in summer we enjoy the sluice box, mountain biking, berry picking and sub alpine feel. Our boys had a great time at summer camp. Winter ...  read more »
  • Nice accommodations and employees are very friendly and helpful. They provide lots of activities for kids in the summer. Buy food before coming up here. There's not much available in the summer. Gorgeous views, great hiking. Decent pool. There weren't many people here so it felt quiet and peaceful.
  • It’s a great place to ski/snowboard during the winter or hike and mountain bike in the summer. Amazing views from most areas of the mountain on clear days! But the lift tickets seems to be fairly expensive so I haven’t gone there recently.
  • Lift tickets here are pretty spendy but they do have the best terrain arround. Best views on sunny days too!
  • This is one of my favorite mountains. Easy to get to from the Spokane airport and has plenty to keep you entertained for days. The snow quality is usually decent, great terrain (although nothing super hardcore like JH, Alta, or Snowbird), and good lift prices. The best feature though is the lack of crowds! Even on a weekend powder day you will rarely have lift lines and there is plenty of terrain to spread everyone out once you get to the top of lift. The only negative I can think of is the Schweitzer fog that seems to a mainstay. On a recent 3-day trip the summit was socked in every day we skied. Once you dropped a couple hundred feet of very however things opened up and visibility was just fine.
  • Its schweitzer. Summer an winter, its spendy, and fun
