  • The cost is next to nothing but the exhibits are claustrophobic and silly. Not worth the stop for any age group.
  • This quirky little place would be a perfectly fine stop on the drive up to Sandia Peak if not for the lingering racism and urine. Several displays include figurines in blackface and most of the outdoo...  read more »
  • This is one of the most amazing collections of everything you will ever see. The location is about 20 minutes out of Albuquerque. You pay a small admission fee and the sites you see are well worth it....  read more »
  • Great Place! Just love the sign "And I did all this while you were watching television". I see something new every time I visit. A don't miss if your in Albuquerque!!
  • Inspiring and pleasuring.... what we could do with recycling, what we could do with art..... if you have not seen the sub turned Lincoln.... I would like to see how much our local musicians turn out..... support the arts.... by the way my sister is introducing her first music camp...... tinkertown left a legacy amongst arts..... Mr. Ward was amazing
  • I haven't been to tinkertown since I was bussed there with thirty other kids for a field trip sometime in elementary school. I went with someone who did not grow up in Albuquerque and had never been. I think with a kid or entirely fresh eyes, it is probably a way more interesting and surprising place to visit. I would still recommend going, but maybe temper your expectations a little because there is a lot of hype. I have to say that the lovely older woman and her daughter (? Total assumption on my part) were wonderfully kind and we even got a story about her first time on a motorcycle... Which happened well before I was born. Lovely people. 💛
  • This is a one-of-a-kind tourist stop where the curious mind could spend hours peering into the life of the tinker. The staff was very friendly and helpful. A real restroom would have given it another star. Porta-potties? Priced reasonably.
  • Super unique place, definitely worth the trip. If you get a chance, talk with the owner, there's a really cool history here.
