  • Even though I've lived in New Mexico all my life, I'd never heard of this place. Filled with a lifetime of handmade curiosities made by an eccentric with a big heart, this is a fun place to take your kids or just go and learn all sorts of random things about the old west, circuses, sailing around the globe, and much more. It's almost like one of Santa's Elves escaped to the mountains near Albuquerque and got back to work making delightful things. Don't miss it!
  • This place is so much fun! Great for a little family outing, day away from the city. You'll need at least a couple hours to see and enjoy all the little wonders this place has to offer!
  • Amazing! There's no other word for it. We didn't quite know what to expect, but were very pleasantly surprised. A lovely museum housing an extraordinary collection. Well worth a visit (hint: take plenty of quarters to operate the various machines).
  • I sang the 50 States Song and I won a prize! Who knew that your 5th grade music teacher could get you props 28 years later?! Thank you Mister Shires!
  • Awesome place to stop and check out - well worth the $4 to get in!!! Didn't know what to expect but this was one of the places "off the beaten path" that we will certainly remember. Love finding unique places like this.
