  • We visited Paako for a golf trip with 4 of us. We stayed in a house near the course and had a terrific time. Played 27-36 holes a day. The course was in great condition even this late in the season. A...  more »
  • Was told that Paako Ridge was THE place to play in New Mexico and boy was that good advice! Lush fairways, smooth fast greens and every hole is picture card perfect. The course is well maintained and ...  more »

  • Fantastic place! The food, golf course, staff all treated our group fantatic. The golf course was in great condition. The restaurant was excellent they even stayed open late for us after golf. We had great service from everyone. Obviously someone made a campaign against Paako for some reason as there are many poor reviews that hardly make sense. I would highly recommend this place.
  • What an incredible golf course! We where there for a long weekend the staff was great and the golf course was one of the best I have ever played. Thanks Paa Ko for a great time.
  • Might be a terrific place to golf (I wouldn't know; I wasn't there for that) but easily the worst place for a wedding reception. Abysmally rude staff that shut down my buddy's reception and kicked everyone out for being "too drunk" and "belligerent" (nobody was drunk, and the only belligerent individuals were the teenaged waitstaff and the loud-mouthed platinum-haired dwarf pretending to be a wedding planner) including my wife and me (my wife is *allergic* to alcohol and I was only drinking water and orange juice). So while it's true that I didn't spend my hard earned money on this glistening dumpster fire of a venue, my experience was still horrid enough to warrant a review which will hopefully serve as a warning to others. I truly feel sorry for my friend and his new wife that they had to deal with this place.
  • Went to a wedding reception there recently. Prepaid for thousands of dollars of drinks, food, and cake. They kicked us out hours earlier before we even took half of what we paid for. Their staff consists of bored teenagers who spent more time texting than working. Normally I wouldn't mind but this was someone's wedding and they literally stole the cake and ignored their job responsibilities. Huge amount of money was stolen that day.
  • I worked down with the golf carts so I wasn't allowed to associate with wedding guests unless they spoke to me but when I did everyone was kind, under control, and not at all the "drunk belligerent people" my boss complained about. The managers bitched for weeks about how drunk and nasty the groom was which was total bullshit. He looked like he was having the time of his life. If you had the super talkative little blonde lady as the planner I am so so so sorry. I know how she can be. The teenagers were "hired" to "work" (term used loosely) weddings because a lot of their parents lived in Paa-ko and they went to the high school down the road, they sucked. I left for reasons similar to what you're talking about. The staff is horrific and a hot mess. I'm sorry you had to deal with them.
