  • $20 for a tasting of 4-6 wines, but worth it. Mature wines show the winemaker knows how to soften sharp notes and 'run with the bigger dogs'. Service was noticeably attentive on this Sat and I wondere...  more »
  • Tolosa Winery had been recommended to us during our visit to San Luis Obispo over the Memorial Day weekend so we decided to give it a try. The winery's modern architecture inside was quite interesting...  more »

  • This is the best winery in Edna Valley. They have an educated staff, high quality wine and a beautiful setting. Their outdoor area has recently been renovated and offers an idyllic setting for wine tasting with friends. The barrel tasting experience is not to be missed either as there is a limited time to try the wines and make a purchase before they're sold out. I joined the wine club and look forward to my next visit when I can taste in the private room for wine club members!
  • If you're looking to pay a lot for a bottle of wine, you can get that here. However, I would not recommend the winery tour. We were hoping to learn more about winemaking but this is a marketing tour. There is a barrell tasting of chardonnary to start, but otherwise you are viewing mostly the areas that can be seen from the tasting room through the windows. Then you end in a lavish event room having your tasting with a sales associate who stays with you the whole time. We were charged for the tasting and for the tour, in spite of buying a $65 bottle of wine. We visited eight wineries in a couple of days, tasted and purchased many good wines but with a more authentic and relaxed experience. All of us in our party were very disappointed with this winery.
  • Great wine — Chardonnay is my favorite — in beautiful setting with its green, rolling hills and trees, greenery and flowers planted all around!
  • Beautiful area...awesome pinot noirs...ask for Young, he is down to earth and very helpful a joy to be around.
  • Barret did a great job. Wonderful experience!
