  • During our visit in San Luis Obispo, we received information on the each Thursday at 18.00-21.00 in Downtown, held one of the largest "Farmers Market, California. We decided to visit the market on Hiquerra Street in Down Town and was greeted by a completely blocked off and traffic-free Street with lots of people. Daytime is the street an ordinary shopping street lined with shops and restaurants but had now turned into a nice marketplace with stalls selling local vegetables, fruit. , meat, groceries, and more Street was bordered by long queues for the big grills like grilled meat you could buy with accessories. We saw many people who were sitting on the sidewalk and ate the grilled food. Local musicians "Live music" and a nice parade with music made this visit to a climax. According to the task got no animal be taken to market.

  • So much fun. We showed up late but it was awesome. Family friendly. It really kind of closes at 9. The majority of vendors start packing up or are already packed up by then. We plan on coming down from fresno and start our weekend with the Thursday night Farmers market!
  • Good food, entertainment and produce. Love the food vendors. Great atmosphere, family freindly.
  • NOTE: Many of the reviews are for the Farmer's Market itself and not the association. The Farmer's Market has been a fun place to go with friends. Everyone can find something they like and then we can eat as a group. On average, the booths tend to be more expensive than what I would pay elsewhere. Finding parking is always difficult. The options are street parking or one of the several parking structures around Higuera.
  • Amazing food but quite crowded. I got some amazing BBQ and Thai coconut icecream today but you can get pretty much all kinds of delicious food there, so make sure to check it out while in the area. They open every Thursday at 6 throughout the entire year
  • I find it funny the sign says no dogs allowed but still people bring them who ever designed the Farmers Market needs to pull their head out of their buts
