  • Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area. They have a huge selection of fresh fruits & veggies (even in the winter) but the real reason to come here is for the baked goods. The pies are...  more »

  • Avila Valley Barn is the best place to step back to a simpler place in time. Fresh fruits, veggies, and an incredible gift shop and bakery. Go for a wagon ride pulled by a tractor, or head out to...  more »

  • I love the Avila Barn! I took my 3 children there many times when they were little one of their favorite places to go! They loved the animals..the hay stack forts, hay rides and honey sticks along with all the delicious fruits and vegetables l bought there for our meals! I have lived on the Central Coast for 38+ years and still enjoy my visits to get fresh fruits and veggies and to visit the cute goats and other animals there! It is a very fun place!
  • The cutest, happiest little barn and farm shop ever! We had an amazing experience here. Petting and feeding the animals brought us so much happiness, and their store has lots of stuff to look at, touch, and taste. They also bake pies and various yummies! We can't wait to go back! They also offer tractor rides but we were busy with food! Don't miss this experience!
  • Avila Barn is a not to be missed local landmark. Open year round now, with lots of fresh produce and freshly baked goodies - pies are DELISH! In September and October, the Barn is packed with locals and tourists alike when the free hayrides into the pumpkin patch starts and pumpkins are plentiful. Free petting zoo keeps the kids entertained as well. Fun!
  • Old fashioned country store charm. Fresh fruit and vegetables, baked goods, toys, cheeses, honey. They also have a little shop with ice cream and sandwiches. Once when we were here they were doing bbq. They have cute farm animals that you can feed and a roast corn both (on the weekends, I think). During fall, I believe they have hay rides and a pumpkin patch.
  • Amazing farmer's market style gift shop. Free, kid and baby friendly farm with animals to feed. Animals are healthy and well taken care of. Great family photo spots. Lots of shaded areas to picnic and enjoy the outdoor scenery and farm. Didnt catch a tractor or pony ride today, but we'll be coming back for more family fun. Such a great stop.
