  • If you visit the Winchester House, leave your car parked there and walk two blocks over to Santana Row. Lots of trendy shops and restaurants, nicely decorated for the holidays.

  • While I miss the Town and Country Village I used to ride my bike through in the 60's and 70's, Santana Row is clearly a world class destination. Even if I didn't live a few blocks away, I'd still be drawn to the European themed streets with the restaurants and stores groundfloor and residential living above. It's quite the experience offering something for nearly everyone. It's family friendly but also the scene to play, see and be seen with bars, Valencia Hotel, great restaurants, farmers market, events and more. Can't think of better place to have fun and enjoy the ambiance Santana Row offers. Come early as parking is often challenging.
  • This is a hot bed of happening in San Jose area. A very short street, but you feel transformed into another city or area. There are lots of coffee shops, restaurants and bars in the area. Also good for that window shopping or just strolling through for a quick bite. A great place with options for the suburban San Jose resident.
  • A little rich for my blood in general but still a fun experience. When I was here there was a lovely couple playing some jazz and the weather was beautiful and the place was clean. I loved the central area by Pinkberry where the jazz artists were playing and others were waltzing around with their puppers and enjoying the space. Cool place to go and chill if nothing else.
  • It's very touristy. If that's your thing, this is a place to go. Shops, movies, murals, napkin-in-lap chain restaurants... But in the back, there's a great view of the bay, a wine bar with great cheeseboards and a view from the second floor. Go to the beach. Check out the aquarium but consider allotting a FULL day (or two days) if you want to see the aquarium AND the feedings. If you're into the feedings (great for kids and adults) get there early and expect it to get warm with that many people in one place. This is ALL on Cannery Row and within a few blocks. Something for everyone.
  • Santana Row is nice a neighborhood / shopping mall with lots of upscale and middle scale restaurants. There are nice cafes / desserts places as well (my favorite one is Cocola Bakery). Lot of them offer outside seating. Santana Row is usually very lively and can be visited any time during the day.
