  • We roamed the trails for an hour or so for our morning walk. The site is a pretty, open woodland that has gravel trails. The trails cross flat ground with the option to walk to the top of the hill...

  • This is great place to hike, jog, or walk. At ground level, the sceneries are so beautiful, reminded me of the countryside. Enough trees to go around, but not too much to block out the sunlight. It's a well kept park. The surrounding neighborhoods are very clean, too. Highly recommended to visit this park. Parking is limited, and there is one way in and out. You may also park on the street as well.
  • Used to walk here a lot years ago while staying with an aunt in San Jose. Some new condos have been built into the hillside, which makes the park feel a little smaller but it's still a hidden gem. There are blue birds, large families of woodpeckers, condors, hawks, swallows, sparrows and small mammals. It's a terrific place to birdwatch.
  • This Guadalupe Oak Grove Park is a little gem in Almaden. Once you get into this park, you feel you are in a different world, even though it is in the middle of residential area. There are a lot of oak trees with woodpeckers busily pecking the trees. There are two small hills that you could easily walk up to, and enjoy the view of the neighborhood and the mountains surrounding the valley. The main entrance is on Thorntree Dr. There are 10 parking spaces inside, a restroom, and some picnic area. There is also a pedestrian entrance at the back on Vargas Dr. The southern end is connected to the Jeffrey Fontana Park and Golden Oak Way.
  • This park has perfect small trails And also a quick hike. During the walk, you can find lovely sunrise or sunset views. It's a great escape into nature right after a busy day.
  • Beautiful location for a hike or get a photoshoot done. Not very busy and easy with toddlers. There are two entrances so make sure you go to the one with parking and restrooms.
