  • There are so many amazing hands-on activities to engage children with. The cow eye dissection was awesome! Each area seemed to have a theme: vision, hearing, sense of touch, illusion, and more! I read the very well written instructions for each activity and the children grasped a better understanding of what they were doing. Great for all ages! Even adults because I learned so much and was inspired as well.
  • I visited the other week during the After Dark (18+) on a Thursday night. I had a blast just walking around the whole place trying each exhibit and demo. It was awesome not having any kids around, although it did still get quite busy after the first hour. Try and give yourself as much time as you can though! I was first in line when they re-opened at 6 PM, and still hadn't seen everything when they closed at 10. It's massive! I was travelling solo, and that was fine, but it would also be a good place to go to in a small group.
  • An extremely fun place to learn new things and try out cool stuff. The tactile dome was absolutely incredible. The dome has no light and requires you to use your other senses to feel around and move around. It was a completely new and awesome experience that I believe a lot of others would enjoy too.
  • As a homeless person, I have not the funds to purchase admittance and lurk the exhibits, but from the impressions of its primary visitors, it is essentially for the more innocent and youthful crowd, than for grown ups. Unless you like simple least complicated fun, with a date. Also it is clearly posted that smokers are unwelcome by the quantity of "No Smoking" signage posted around the place. That the hint is obvious. Bring a jacket, even if its sunny outside, the breeze off the bay is always very chilly.
  • This place is as good to teach a toddler as it is to teach the toddler in us all. My son had a great time playing with everything even if he didn't know why things were happening. My wife and I were thralled by many displays. It was a great learning day for the young and young at heart.
