  • The Beat Museum is located on Broadway. The Museum created a fan of literary youth movement and Jerry Cimino. This movement emerged in the United States after the second world war, proclaimed the vagrancy, anarchy, fascination with Buddhism. The Museum contains the original manuscript of Jack Kerouac's novel "on the road". The Museum is open to the public every day from 10-to 19-0000 0000. The cost of visiting the Museum is $8.

  • A tribute to the Beat Generation and the walking tour is worth it! Two stories of memorabilia, photos, books, and tales of the Beatniks. The proprietor, Jerry Cimino led the tour and is chock full of ...  more »
  • We arrived by chance, and the first thing I have to say, is that the 2 people that they attended to us (a young man and a Knight) are lovely, helped us a lot, you know a lot of the time. You take care as if they were your friends. They have lots of information. Inside the tent there is a small museum, it pays very little. Just enter is wonderful. Although you do not buy, it is a pleasant place to visit. Excellent location. They have many offers and sale of souvenirs.

  • We found this place by accident. Lucky for us, there was a really nice guy working and he explained what The Beats were. An interesting part of History that I never knew I was missing out on. Cool books that you won't find anywhere else. Check it out for sure, ya dig?
  • A small, intimate museum about an unknown but interesting subject. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Loved it!
  • Really cool place. There was an event there the day my friend and I went, 1000 poets. Unfortunately we couldn't go back to see it, but everyone was very inviting and cool about it. Highly recommended people check this place out. Also, entry is so affordable.
  • Lots of cool memorabilia from major 50s movement in US. Inexpensive to visit. Friendly knowledgeable staff.
  • Amazing little museum where you get to learn some more about the lives and work of the beats. They also have a little cinema and the bookshop is amazing! Definitely stop by.
