  • I had a very long business trip in California with a half a day free time. Having read On The Road, The Dharma Bums, Naked Lunch several times this stuck out as a place to visit. Not disappointed! It'...  more »
  • What is worth the trip? Not sure. You pass in the corner, stop. It is a collection of anecdotes about Jack Kerouac and his friends. It would have been interesting to have more explanation on the Beat generation in the wider sense. At the level of the Museum, it's very basic.

  • We found this place by accident. Lucky for us, there was a really nice guy working and he explained what The Beats were. An interesting part of History that I never knew I was missing out on. Cool books that you won't find anywhere else. Check it out for sure, ya dig?
  • A small, intimate museum about an unknown but interesting subject. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Loved it!
  • Really cool place. There was an event there the day my friend and I went, 1000 poets. Unfortunately we couldn't go back to see it, but everyone was very inviting and cool about it. Highly recommended people check this place out. Also, entry is so affordable.
  • Lots of cool memorabilia from major 50s movement in US. Inexpensive to visit. Friendly knowledgeable staff.
  • Amazing little museum where you get to learn some more about the lives and work of the beats. They also have a little cinema and the bookshop is amazing! Definitely stop by.
