  • Stonestown was one of the first shopping malls in America. Developed by the Stoneson brothers and opened in 1952 as an open air one story mall with the Emporium as the anchor store. The Galleria was r...  more »
  • Brother said this is the largest in San Francisco Golden hill vicinity, a motionless security than others. Sell many handy shops, still 蠻 good shopping, eating, fun, good release Userboxes/Time.

  • We stopped here to take a look as it was close to home. It's a nice mall with lots of shops to choose from. From clothes to food stores/restaurants and much more! It's newer looking and bright inside.  more »

  • This is a bustling little Community here. There's plenty of parking and it's free. Has plenty of stuff to eat here like McDonald's and Starbucks. It's lots and lots and lots of shopping choices. From close to trinkets. I found this place very entertaining. I didn't see any kind of crime or Thug Enos at all. Very upscale. I would definitely be going back
  • This place has come a long way in a few years. There's now multiple places to eat there's more stores bigger stores more selection. Victoria's Secrets has expanded their footprint. There's a new pizza place there's a new burger place. The only bad thing Macy's is closing and will be replaced by some other store hopefully.
  • This was my second time at the Stonestown Galleria. I love all the stores they have to offer. I think the food Court could have better restaurants but my main purpose is to shop so it's really not a big deal. They have a ton of parking but it's usually really crowded.
  • Stonestown Galleria is located in San Francisco. It is a two-story building with great shops and great ambiance. Parking is plentiful and it is close to Muni and bus lines. This is a great place to spend the day shopping.
  • Great safe mall. Free parking. Lots of good stores & some good eats. I like Sorabel Korean food in the Food Court. Ok theater. Farmers' market! It is nice to walk around an inside mall .

Where to stay in San Francisco

From inexpensive hostels in quiet residential areas to high-end hotels near the city center, San Francisco has accommodations for every budget. Key consideration is what kind of neighborhood you want to stay in. You'll find luxury hotels in Union Square, which has prime shopping, is near theaters, and is on the cable car line. Many hotels are in the northeastern portion of the city, near the tourist-driven neighborhoods of Chinatown and Fisherman's Wharf, both easily explored on foot. To get away from the tourist crowds, consider the smaller inns and family-run bed and breakfasts in some of the city's more charming neighborhoods, such as Noe Valley or Pacific Heights. There are also boutique hotels scattered around town. Avoid staying in the Tenderloin. If you plan to have a car with you, ask about parking availability and fees. Parking is often difficult and expensive.
