  • Pioneer Monument is located near the Civic Center, so past it is difficult to pass, he will certainly meet on your way, but it didn't impress me both times when visiting San Francisco, in my opinion it somehow a bit pretentious, I think, however, that it is worthwhile to devote a few minutes of your time. The monument, made in bronze and granite, was donated to the city a multi-millionaire James Face and talks about the missionary period and the prosperity of California under American control. Picture still taints a great number of homeless people in the area, but it is universal Beach San Francisco, unfortunately (:

  • Monument dedicated to the discoveries of the territory of the State, in the Center and the tallest statue of a female personification of California, while the rest are placed on the four sides of the world. From the side it looks very original.
