  • Located at the foot of Coit Tower more or less up to the Pier 23 the Levi's Plaza is characterized by a small green manicured Park, (where maybe relax after visiting the Coit Tower and getting off by Filbert steps), and from the offices of the famous House. Inside the structure there is also a shop of Levi's for the truth somewhat disappointing (and especially for the assortment). Altogether the Council a short visit but only after first seeing all the attractions that San Francisco offers.

  • Now I know why the clothing is so expensive, this place would be very expensive to maintain and keep clean with all the homeless people dossing there at night with their assorted rubbish. It is commen...  more »
  • It's one of the peculiarities of San Francisco, a Plaza (between Telegraph Hill and the Embarcadero) dedicated to the famous manufacturer of jeans, which has its corporate headquarters. You can relax on the benches of the square or come to pay a visit to the shop open to the public, indeed, not very big but still with nice denim at prices which are not exaggerated. Recommended stop. • Great place to hang out for lunch. It's also a great spot to hang out if you need a break from work. The fountain is very soothing, and there are cafes and eateries close by. There are some other spots across the street, closer to the Bay. Check it out.
  • Can't speak on the shops or cafés, but the grassy area with the stream and fountains is mad soothing. Great place for a quick stroll, with a fantastic view of the coit tower. Very zen.
  • Glad to see it. Nice staff, outlet prices, iconic company
  • NiCe mini museum, display always changes, authentic American styles at the store, a lot of events...
  • Great sports and concert venue. Traffic can be pretty.

Where to stay in San Francisco

From inexpensive hostels in quiet residential areas to high-end hotels near the city center, San Francisco has accommodations for every budget. Key consideration is what kind of neighborhood you want to stay in. You'll find luxury hotels in Union Square, which has prime shopping, is near theaters, and is on the cable car line. Many hotels are in the northeastern portion of the city, near the tourist-driven neighborhoods of Chinatown and Fisherman's Wharf, both easily explored on foot. To get away from the tourist crowds, consider the smaller inns and family-run bed and breakfasts in some of the city's more charming neighborhoods, such as Noe Valley or Pacific Heights. There are also boutique hotels scattered around town. Avoid staying in the Tenderloin. If you plan to have a car with you, ask about parking availability and fees. Parking is often difficult and expensive.
