  • When this small mall first opened, I thought the architecture was interesting, but now not so much. It has never really taken off and always has a couple of empty store fronts. Some nice cafe seating ...  more »
  • This farmer market was just a block away from my hotel (Galleria park). They were offering very fresh fruits and awesome confectionary. I have experienced great cheesecake and small fruit pies there. ...  more »
  • An elegant glass Pavilion, away from tourist routes. Perfect for breakfast or a quick lunch, there are several choices from pizza/pasta to soups, from Japanese to Mexican. The lunch break is very crowded with Office workers and professionals in the financial district. Verify hours of operation of individual businesses because they are not all created equal. Some open on Saturdays. Usually on Thursdays, in summer also on Tuesday, the lower level has a bio farmers market. A few delicious and colorful banquets that expose local fruits and vegetables, sweets, cheese.

  • Beautiful spot where our old office was located. Plenty of seating that is free and open to the public, along with heat lamps. They frequently have the farmers market, which allows you to buy local fruits and vegetables. There are quite a few restaurants on the top floor to grab a quick bite, ranging from burritos to Chinese to a Jimmy Johns. Make sure to check out the outdoor patio, where there is free seating as well.
  • Weekly farmer's market on Thursdays on the bottom floor and daily access to public rooftop terrace. This is one of those SF community spaces that is a hidden gem if you can't see it from your office and would need someone to tell you about it. Great to eat lunch with bench seating or take a break in the sunshine with views of Market St. A few restaurant options to pick out from on the cafeteria level and most options are reasonably priced ~$10 pp.
  • A very small multi level enclosed galleria style mall. If you live or work near here, it's a stylish and pleasant place to sit for lunch or a break (there are a few food places). You may come here specifically because it houses a shop you need, but It's too small to be a destination for random recreational shopping, unless you're walking the downtown shopping zone anyway.
  • A mall for the trust fund/elitist crowd. If you're a working stiff, there's really nothing for you here. Case in point: a basic men's clipper haircut at their barber shop is $60+. Just lot of lot of overpriced clothes and knick knacks that folks who don't have to get up early, commute to the city and work hard for their money buy to think to themselves how hip, trendy and cool they are. The secret is out on their fancy upper level sun deck too. So don't think you can go there between 11 AM - 1:30 PM and find a place to sit. The only store that has anything service I need is the shoe shine stand. It's expensive but those guys do a crackerjack job.
  • Love this place great food cool little shops and even have a little farmers market there to
