No longer a ballpark technically but even when used for events or concerts, leaving the park is a nightmare. It took us 2 hours to just get onto Hwy 101. Horrible planning!
This is a clean, really laid-back park with multiple trails, fishing dock, picnic tables, and fire pits for those outdoor gatherings. Due to its location, this place is not crowded because it’s right next to Bayview Hunter’s Point projects, but I find it pleasantly quiet and safe (as long as my big dog is with me). There are park rangers patrolling the area, so watch out if your dog is off leash. Depending on the weather, you might catch a fleet of wind surfers, a kayaker or paddle-boarder. This is the place where middle-class local folks hang out.
Nice Park, good for bbq. A Lot of squirels
Great open area. Well-maintained and easy to access. Flew FPV here today. It gets a bit windy and chilly.
There are BBQ grills and dogs allowed on leash! Be careful of foxtails if you do bring your dog... they are everywhere. Beautiful views.
Peace n quiet on the outskirts of the city. Stress relief whilst watching the waves.
