  • There is not much else around in the downtown area of San Diego and this one really does not have a lot going for it. There is a small Macy's and a number of specialty shops and that is about it.  more »
  • Shopping Mall located in downtown San Diego's. There are shops with more than meets the eye. The top floor is a restaurant and relax throughout the day. Shop is nothing special to be honest, there is no special mention, shopping in San Diego and became first choice. Tourist attraction is not, I suggest you also a local atmosphere.

  • This mall opens to a large square Opposite the US Grant hotel. There is a Starbucks cafe in the middle of the square. Macys and other shops occupy the multistory building. I felt uneasy as many homele...  more »

  • One of the best aspects of this mall is the parking (great rates + lots of spaces all the time - near the roof). However, of course the mall itself is great. Not only do they have top of the line stores but they even have a movie theater. Recently, they opened up a new park so it is a nice place to chill after a long work week or if you're looking for a place to enjoy the city without having to keep moving so much.
  • we couldn't find parking for monster bash, we wanted to park after 8pm inside horton plaza!, we had no idea they charged u a lot more!..we didnt even stayed parked for 8 minutes because we did not like it..so we wanted to go back home , the two ladies there were so rude to us. very rude. they charge us 20$..so guys dont park here after 8 is very expensive. and either way parking here is impossible
  • I love this mall, but it's extremely confusing getting around. Even with parking, it can be confusing. The mall it designed to have multiple levels flowing, so it's not leveled and depending on where you enter from the parking, you want to make sure you make it back to your car from the same entry way. I've gone here and could see my park, but with the split leveling, I couldn't get to my car without making my way back into the mall to find the other parking entrance. They have lots of fun shops here, but there's a decline since they started charging for parking.
  • I never liked the architecture of this Mall. It is simply weird but I visited often when I was in the area due mostly because of their generous free 3 hour parking that they offered. I used to go there, eat at the mall and then walk around the Gaslamp Quarter. Now that they took the 3 hour free parking and replaced it with a not so friendly equivalent that actually is a bit expensive I simply go somewhere else that is cheaper to park and still enjoy the area. I hope they reconsider their policy
  • Let me be super clear. The only reason I dislike it is because parking is so ridiculous! They allow 1 free hour, then it's like $2/15 minutes. You can validate at Macy's or a couple of other stores for an extra couple of hours but it's a hassle if you didn't plan on going into those stores and who knows when they will take that away too? Overall, the outdoor mall is really nice. It's nice to get some sun while shopping and the store options are nice as well. They have an attached 24 hr Fitness in case you need to get a work out in ( you can get some extra parking time by joining.) But if you're not trying to get a gym membership or shop at Macy's then you feel super rushed shopping here. It sucks.
