  • Hockey night with the San Diego Gulls is always the best. Great entertainment, family oriented. Players are top rate.
  • Went to watch a WWE event here. The venue is really nice, just the right size. Easy to walk around and find your seat. Good food on offer as well

  • I viewed my first hockey game ever here (Gulls vs Texas Stars) and had a great time. There are loads of different choices for snacks and drinks and all vendors I visited accepted cards and cash. The seats have padding so they're very comfortable, even when you have to sit for a while. There's plenty of room in the entrances so we were able to get in quickly, even though there were security checks.
  • Obviously the place is old, but they have really done a nice job making it a comfortable venue especially for gulls games. The food and drink selection is on the level of Petco Park and blows away Qualcomm. Craft brews, local eats, it really is awesome. As far as the facilities, the bathrooms are very clean and the venue is well taken care of. Like I said it is old and there is only so much you can do with an old venue. The seating is old and needs updating.
  • I love country shows and had the chance to see two of my favorite country acts in the last week in a half at the Valley View Casino Center. First I saw Carrie Underwood who was playing in the round and was an incredible show from start to finish. I went to the Taphaus at the arena and had a couple of the 10 San Diego beers on tap at that bar. A piece of Pizza Port Pizza and then to watch Carrie play a great show. I asked about the Stella Lounge and guest services showed me area and I was impressed. And Last night I got to see the living legend Dolly at the same spot. What a great show and she sang all the hits. This time I went to the 10 Barrel bar and had one of the Pina beers which was delicious. Can't believe that this venue is almost 50 years old and so busy. I loved the Garth Brooks Wall wraps and will be back in the next month to watch some hockey.
  • History. I love the history here. You walk through this old building and see how many amazing artists have played here- that is really cool to me as a music lover. Music is timeless and being here helps me remember that. My first show was in this room when I was very young and I have so many amazing memories from shows over the years here... some with friends, others with family- it brings San Diego together! Kinda like going back to the house you grew up in- you may have some shiny appliances in a new place, but there is a warm comfort of home and a boat load of memories within these walls that just cannot be duplicated.
  • I really enjoy this location since it's more than what meets the eye. This venue hosts concerts, hockey and soccer games and maybe more! The parking lot is host to a large Farmers Market on the weekends on one side the Sockers Indoor Center home of recreational indoor league on the other side.
