  • We visited with our 7 and 3year olds. We especially loved the play area on top floor that they could explore together and the laser daughter loved the special circuit activity for the older kids.  more »
  • I took my 4 year old grandson to a birthday party here. They kept all the party goers in a small room. The only activity was a large table covered with white paper, a few stamps and crayons. The kids ...  more »
  • We had a great time here! So creative! My granddaughter absolutely loved it! Perfect for toddlers and young children, but older kids would love it too.  more »

  • We love this place. My kids love this place. It's in a great location, and there's just all kinds of exhibits and activities for kids to entertain themselves with. As if talking your children to a place that's thoroughly entertaining AND educational, they've got a little cafe on site, and they even offer discounted parking at the ACE Parking lot that's less than a block away. They've got a parking garage as well, but it's like two-three times more expensive than the parking lot across the street. Finally, they're ALWAYS ordering some sort of free or discounted admission, but if that's not your thing, you can get an annual pass for a family of four for only like, $105. I'm my humble opinion, it's totally worth it.
  • We attended the last2hours of open time but it seemed like longer. There's not enough time in a day to take advantage of all the activities they have to occupy the brains of everyone, not just the little ones. We enjoyed the clay creating area, derby, and the sketch Aquariam. That was the best room for me. I love coloring but this was a step beyond by adding a scanning machine into the activity, you can see your picture come to life on a giant screen. Can you see my seahorses?
  • Truly a place where a kid can be a kid. Some many creative options for them to explore. Brought my 8 y/o and her friends and they played and created for at least three hours. Bring a lunch and have a meal outside in the adjacent park. Parking can be a challenge but there are pay lots very close.
  • I have been to numerous museums around the world, and Children's Museum in San Diego is one of my favorite museums for kids! I am an artist and educator, and I get inspired every time I go to this museum. There is so much to explore in this innovative, interactive environment. Variety of exciting tools and materials are easily accessible for children and adults to create. There are numerous themed playrooms that spark imagination and invite kids to get creative while learning.
  • My grandson and I always have amazing time wherever we visit the museum. My recommendation is to have more musical instruments. Daily performance by local musicians and science presentation by local scientists.
