  • We brought our 8-year old niece from Minnesota to SeaWorld, and it was her favorite tourist spot of the trip. Upon arrival, parking is $17, be ready for that. Tickets can be pricey, upwards of $80, bu...  read more »
  • This is an awesome place to go if you love animals. The shows are great, especially the dolphin show, and the atmosphere is amazing. Plus, you just can't beat San Diego weather!
  • Two times in the last year, definitely better and worth the crowds to go during the holidays. The small crowd weekday was good for making a short day of seeing almost everything, but not as festive an...  read more »
  • I love the animals and the shows. Most people go to see the killer whales and dolphins but I thought the best part was the pet show. It had dogs, cats, birds, and pigs put on a good show. The rides were also so much fun! Make sure you bring extra clothes because you may get wet!
  • I love this place. Clean, vibrant, exceptional consideration of the environment and extremely family friendly. There has been bumps in the past but Sea World is a great place and more theme parks should follow in their footsteps. Water bottle refill stations, recycling centers, conservation and protection messages for the kids worked into every show, all while filled with wonder and fun for the family. You go Sea World. In the end you are a business, but you balance that with helping the world *golf clap*
  • Still a great place to visit with or without the family. My 3 year old loved seeing all of the shows and particularly enjoyed feeding the sea lions some fish. They were so loud! And actually pretty comical. The front entrance had some touch-pools with fish that "kiss" your hands, some sharks to pet and the usual shops to keep you entertained before the park opens. There was a lot of new and different stuff here since I last visited a LONG time ago. The park was clean and easy to navigate. We had lunch at one of the little cafes in the middle of the park. Nothing special here. Just the usual over-priced cafeteria food. But when you've been baking in the sun and navigating through crowds, you're ready to enjoy any type of sustenance. Overall, we had a great time and my son already can't wait to go back. Oh, also, the park intends to continue with the killer whale shows but they will be focusing on "tricks" featuring more natural behaviors, education and conservation.
  • My family brought season passes and we really enjoy every visit. We love that there are not any block out dates. We have enjoyed many different holiday events that Sea World has hosted. From Halloween Spooktacular to Wintery Wonderland around Christmas time. My daughter loves playing at the Sesame Street Play park. It is a fun place to bring the whole family. And don't forget to have all your guest buy the All Day Dining Pass! It is well worth it.
  • I have mixed feelings about sea world. The park is pretty nice and clean. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The shows are a little cheesy, they could do so much more with these intelligent mammals other than having them jumping just to get a hand full of fish. There must be other ways to educate/expose the general public with these animals other than having a 20 minute silly story line (Disney style). Is it worth going ? I would say just once to see yes but I would definitely not go back. Way overpriced for what you get. So much more they could do with the facilities and money that they have spent. My five year old loved it by the way.
