  • This is a spicial show in the basement with an extra fee. Well worth the $10 per person, kids loved the real sized T-Rex "SUE" from the The Feild We spent about one hours in this exbits
  • It was ok, but not fascinating. We have definitely been to better museums. The films were interesting.
  • This small museum does a pretty good job of explaining the natural history of Southern California in its exhibits. For example, one interesting exhibit explained the impact of brush or forest fire on ...  more »

  • My husband and I enjoyed the museum. Very informative about animals today and from the past. A great place to bring children lots of things to see and touch.
  • A big bunch of old bones glued together with lies. The most bizarre expo is a lot of sacred whale's skeletons sacred to some people in New Zealand. And because of that you cannot take pictures of them. It is one of the most weird stuff ever. And they are really serious about that !
  • One of the premiere museums in all of San Diego, a stunning facility in the old Naval Hospital, with a great deal of history behind it. The permanent exhibition is fun and educational, and the revolving visiting exhibitions are always worth a look.
  • Informative; intriguing Fossil finds and exhibits. There is something interesting for everyone and answers to those time old questions like "How did certain species survive the global catastrophe of the last large meteor impact?"
  • Five floors filled with great educational stuff. Explores Earths history from the beginning, focusing on Calofornia area. Underground level has a temporary exposition and fifth level has a temporary photo exposition. Museum also shows movies regularly in theater, even in 3D. Amazing place for kids.
