  • There are many museums to choose from, but this one is worth stop if you have time and can take the tower tour. Our guide was a little rude but informative. It was also odd to sign a liability waiver ...  more »
  • This museum is located in the heart of Balboa Park. The building is an old church, with a façade of great level of detail in his carvings and a large Tower. Beautiful view, is worth visiting the Park and pass through this building.

  • This is a great museum! It's small and easy to explore and has a great collection of artifacts. Very cool for kids to learn about evolution.
  • Incredibly engrossing! Loved all the different exhibits; the museum excelled at the design of their interpretive materials. I didn't feel as though I was simply reading signs, but felt engaged. Lots to see!
  • Such a great museum. You really have to check it out. Super cheap with a student id. The race exhibit was mind blowing.
  • Very good museum. We toured the main museum, as well as the special exhibit on cannibalism. All of the exhibits were interesting, well thought out, and included fun interactive elements. We didn't do the tower tour, but if we're ever back in San Diego, that's definetly on our to-do list. Worth the price, would be great for kids, too!
  • I only stopped in because I needed to use a restroom. The front desk and entry area seemed a bit unorganized. They do not have a public restroom for use. Never saw the exhibit.
