  • Incredibly engrossing! Loved all the different exhibits; the museum excelled at the design of their interpretive materials. I didn't feel as though I was simply reading signs, but felt engaged. Lots to see!
  • Great kid friendly museum with a collection of interesting exhibits. The Egyptian collection was by far one of the best we've seen. They had a traveling exhibit on torture which was well done. Recommend doing the tower tour as well, if just for the views alone.
  • Very good museum. We toured the main museum, as well as the special exhibit on cannibalism. All of the exhibits were interesting, well thought out, and included fun interactive elements. We didn't do the tower tour, but if we're ever back in San Diego, that's definetly on our to-do list. Worth the price, would be great for kids, too!
  • This is a very small museum with limited artifacts on display. The most intriguing selection will be it's mummy collection. May not be a worth the while to purchase the ticket just to enter this museum. However, if you happen to have the San Diego Pass or other museum passes, it is worth the time to go there.
  • I attended one of their after hours events honoring the Olympics. It was really fun! I have also observed the museum exhibits once before and that too was a great experience.
