  • Great views both directions. A greater understanding of the city layout can be seen from this vantage point. Good view of naval base.  more »
  • The Coronado Bridge that we crossed while driving to the Coronado Beach is really stunning - the bridge is long and high and the views are stunning. You should take this way while going to the island.  more »
  • It is a bridge that connects San Diego to Coronado Island. Has an interesting feature that is soaring to the top, because the bridge is very high. But it's just a bridge. The interesting thing is what is there after the bridge: Coronado Island.

  • Skip crossing the bridge for fun or even coming to Coronado at all. Their gestapo eagerly await you to challenge the 25 mph speed limit at ANY excess. Their obcession with keeping traffic at a snail's pace and signs preventing anyone from turning into certain residential streets at certain specific times are generously placed everywhere to make sure you get a souvenir ticket. Anyone routinely travelling over the bridge will know what I mean.
  • Don't jump! Great drift fishing with half ounce jigs 3 inch grub tails between pillars 15 and 16 is usually Dynamite
  • Pros: Great view of San Diego No toll Faster then the silver strand Not that much traffic View of the TJ Con: No shoulder No walkway Very narrow
  • One of the coolest bridges ever. Very tall and very scary for those who have fears of heights and such. Be prepared to make quick decisions as far as traffic. The lanes aren't super wide either. See you on the other side lol
  • MMmmmmmm the shrimp tacos are exceptional!! Great place to take the kids!
