  • Stop 2 hours in this atypical place that is the old San Diego. We discover the way people live, their outfits, etc.

  • Large variety of gift shops and restaurants within just a few blocks. Easy to walk through the entire area. Parking is somewhat limited on the street, but there are lots within close proximity.  more »
  • We had a great time here at OldTown. It's a must see in San Diego. Plenty of restaurants, shops and museums. The flea market had great items, tin shop, tea/coffee, soap/candle, pottery, etc.....  more »

  • BY FAR THE WORST CHAMBER I HAVE INTERACTED WITH!! They have the worst customer service. I have NEVER heard of a chamber that will deny membership to another San Diego BUSINESS because they aren't located in Old Town and not disclose upcoming events. Chambers are designed to uplift and connect business owners to other business owners. They are SUPPOSE to be focused on creating a strong local economy, be a clear voice of business to government entities, and an organization that joins together to make the city a better place. I am appalled at the inconsiderate and close minded individuals that they allow to answer the chamber phone. The Board of Directors of this Chamber should be very concerned about who they choose to represent this Chamber. First impressions are everything in business and that was definitly not someone I would want running a Chamber I become a member of.

Where to stay in San Diego

Offering accommodations at a wide range of price levels, San Diego is one of the easiest cities to stay in, regardless of whether you're simply passing through or hanging around for a long vacation. If you don't mind splurging, book your stay at a luxury downtown hotel or a lavish bayside resort. You can also rent a spacious private cottage within walking distance of the city's popular beaches. For a more affordable alternative, try a family-friendly hostel or quaint inn in a quiet residential area.
