Mission Beach Park, San Diego
Categories: Beaches, Nature & Parks, Outdoor Activities
Settle into a fun, carnival-like atmosphere at Mission Beach Park, where you can swim, lounge on the sand all day, or wander the area. You'll find plenty of food stands, bars, and street performers, and some fine-dining restaurants as well. You can surf, play sports, join beach boot camps, and even ride a rollercoaster or artificial waves. The mood is calmer at the opposite end of the beach, which features fishing spots and underwater shipwrecks you can explore. Parking spots are hard to find; buses and bikes are better options. The water the people the atmosphere. Just if you want to get a parking space get there Early. Did i say mention EARLY cuz the parking is challenging to say the least but overall great time. The 4 * is for the parking. San Diego. Mission Beach. Mission beach park. Oh has roller coaster rides and alot of food and other shops up the block.
Great place to spend the day! Lots to do besides enjoying the beach. Bike, rentals, boogie boards & surf board rentals available. Plenty of restaurants to choose from, lots of shops. Totally recommend to visit.
By far one of the best beaches in San Diego. Went looking for food, fun, and Pokemon and that's what I got. I come here everytime I come to SAN Diego and wish there was a place in AZ like it. Will always come back here again.
I road my bike around the bay, nearly 9 miles. Mostly on paved and protected bike and walking lanes. Beautiful area. I'll be back.
Beautiful, clean beach. Great idea with the fire pits. The parking was a hassle but I can understand why. One of my favorite beaches to visit
