I recently moved to SD and have never been to a swap meet before so I don't have anything to compare it to. My fiancee and I keep going back, our favorites are the toy vendors and the small plant vend...  more »

It's nice to take a few friends with you to Kobey's Swap Meet! It's 1 buck to get in on Friday, which is a smaller venue then Sat-Sun which is 2 bucks to get in per person. I would wear good walking s...  more »

Kolby's is really cool. I live close so I go almost every weekend. There's Bargains Galore up there. The best part of going is your fine things that are inexpensive that you didn't know you needed till you get there. Got up this morning and the news showed that once a month they're going to have Lowrider cars and motorcycles. That was really interesting.

This place has all kinds of different things to choose from. It's a good place to walk around even if you don't intend to buy anything. There will be something there that will catch your eye. The main food area is closed for some reason. Maybe closed untill summer. There is a little snack shack in the middle of the swap meet. You will also smell Phil's BBQ while you're there. I used to think that the food court area had BBQ there. It was always Phil's BBQ in the shipping center next door.

They're overcharging for seller spaces on the weekend. The good sellers are not going there anymore. It's becoming a place not worth going to anymore. They Brave the admission fee and there were no more food stands. I'm guessing it's going to turn into a one-day-a-week swap meet in the future.

My husband and I enjoy walking around just looking what we can find.I like that we can find fresh fruit at a reasonable price.I also enjoy looking at all the old things.I did however notice there was a lot of empty spaces.

Great little community of sellers selling everything you could imagine. I've worked here every weekend for years. Must be a reason because I'm not desperate for money.
