  • Lots of restaurants. Main time to visit is at night when the lights turned on. Here, they have the Ghirardelli Chocolate shop and Westfield.
  • The Gaslamp Quarter is a great choice in San Diego, both to visit as staying. There are several hotels, suites and lofts, with good prices. Who stay and are with car, attention: public parking rules are strict and there are many local and time constraints. The paid parking lots left, which cost up to $40 for 12:00 am, so if you come by car to be, best programming and check this detail, because it may well make the trip. The location is fantastic, there are bars, shops and restaurants of all kinds. Friday and Saturday are super busy! The 4th, 5th and 6th Avenue are really cool, and near the Petco Park is the Arch of the entrance of the Gaslamp, very cool! Walk about 20 minutes, the seaport village and harbor drive, beautiful regions for exercising, shopping and check out the landscape. In the Westfield Horton Plaza has several options in the food court and shops, and for those who don't want to spend a lot, has good supermarkets that sell good food the kilo, as Jimbo's (organic) and Ralph's, and great options. A tip: check the website of Gaslamp when will be the Toast of Gaslamp, a small event that involves several restaurants, about $25 per person, which allows you to taste and drink drinks in each. Cool!

  • This place is great. The bar tender (Mel) is fun and makes a mean drink. Place place to hang out
  • Some great bars and restaurants. Found live music and dancing in one that rounded off a great evening.
  • Nice places to eat and hang out.
  • Love the atmosphere and variety in dining choices.
  • This is a must see area. Alot of restarants and pubs. Alot of vagrants and pan handling. But it is a fun place.
