  • This has to be one of the nicest cemeteries, the view is beautiful and very peaceful. The Cemetary is very nicely maintained and easy to get around.
  • On the way to Cabrillo memorial. Always sobering to see the gravestones of those who have passed. Nice place to meditate on the price of freedom
  • The cemetery is on the way to/from Cabrillo National Monument. It is quite impressive as the headstones seem to go one endlessly and overlook the water. Very serene and an appropriate resting place fo...  more »

  • Rest in peace grandpa I'm glad you get to be in such a beautiful place with your brothers. Thank you for being such an amazing man. I look up to u in so many ways for so many reasons . I am forever grateful and feel so lucky to have been raised by you . I love you.
  • Breathtakingly beautiful. Ideal burial place for my beautiful wife Shirley B Gibson-Coningford, who passed away on Oct 9, 2015. She is buried with her first husband Donald E Gibson and wants me to be buried with them when I pass away. Per personnel at Ft Rosecrans, it is my right to be buried with her.
  • I love the sad beauty of this place. It's beautifully maintained by the glistening ocean coast bringing a peaceful mind that our heroes are truly resting in peace. God bless them all!
  • When we went to the lighthouse we seen this cemetery and for some strange reason I felt a lot of respect for those who served to their country. I'm not American but it's a pleasure to see how all of you showing your love and respect to your elders that restored the peace of your country.
  • Breathtaking view! Very peaceful too :) God bless the men and women protecting our country!
