  • A large, wide area for flora of the desert, has some variety of cactus and is very nice to walk around here

  • It's part of Balboa Park, but stands alone: in the far east corner there is a footbridge across the road, there are two garden-cacti and roses. Cacti are very interesting and different from small up to the size of a tree. Impressions you provided!

  • What a neat place to take a stoll, especially if you are from a place where succulents and cactus plants aren't indigenous. You'll be amazed at all the different types, sizes and shapes.
  • The desert garden is a cool and unique place go walk around. The enormous cactus that's created a cave is really interesting. I'm glad the park has some regional horticulture.
  • Another wonderful spot in Balboa Park. Great for seeing all kinds of desert plants.
  • Well worth a quick walk across the street from the main attractions.
  • Great free garden with lot of unique plants.
  • Interesting change of pace featuring desert dwelling plants.
