  • You may think you're on the wrong road, driving through a residential development, but stick with it. Bernardo Winery offers a nice wine tasting opportunity plus a cute cluster of shops. The art galle...  more »
  • Would recommend coming here for a tasting and shopping. Lot of fun! You pay for your tasting and receive a ticket, which they tear off for each wine you taste. Then you wonder off to the stores, glass...  more »

  • Wonderful place! Beautiful scenery and the staff is awesome! Linda in the tasting room was super friendly and helpful. You also get to sample a piece of chocolate with each glass in the sweet shop. The atmosphere in general brings on nothing but good vibes! Definitely worth the visit!
  • Very relaxing time. We purchased the 5 wine sampler. Enjoyed sipping each sample and casually walking to sweet shop for chocolate pairing. Walked around the vineyards and saw a beehive, windmill, and set up for a wedding. Eating at the cafe was pleasurable, great service, cozy table outside in a corner. Peaceful day.
  • Very nice, shabby chic type of feel. Everyone is very friendly and I love the fresh roasted coffee.
  • The Bernardo Winery is like a small village. They have a bakery, restaurant, sweet shop, and a winery. We were here on a rainy day so we were enjoying our tasting out on the patio watching the rain. The wine was good and I ended up buying several before leaving. I especially liked the Merlot, Zinfandel, and reserve port. Plenty of parking. About a 30 minute drive from San Diego.
  • Beautiful venue with a small restaurant on site along with many little shops. The history of the winery is interesting to learn and adds to the overall ambiance and character.
