  • 128 wine harvest, choose liquid a little less. Liquor still can, try a Burgendy and Merlot, a bit difficult to drink. Service Dept Phase would not too friendly, Ying this don't want to revisit it.

  • Beautiful winery with average wine. Fun events hosted there regularly. Friendly staff.
  • Great atmosphere, even better wine! Fun shops and family friendly. Live music on Sundays. A true treasure of Rancho Bernardo.
  • Looked like a cool place to go. My family went to take photos with Santa unfortunately they closed the Santa pictures right as we got there. We then had no reason to stay in the lines to have a drink. We may try to go again another time for a different event.
  • Wonderful place! Beautiful scenery and the staff is awesome! Linda in the tasting room was super friendly and helpful. You also get to sample a piece of chocolate with each glass in the sweet shop. The atmosphere in general brings on nothing but good vibes! Definitely worth the visit!
  • The Bernardo Winery is like a small village. They have a bakery, restaurant, sweet shop, and a winery. We were here on a rainy day so we were enjoying our tasting out on the patio watching the rain. The wine was good and I ended up buying several before leaving. I especially liked the Merlot, Zinfandel, and reserve port. Plenty of parking. About a 30 minute drive from San Diego.

Where to stay in San Diego

Offering accommodations at a wide range of price levels, San Diego is one of the easiest cities to stay in, regardless of whether you're simply passing through or hanging around for a long vacation. If you don't mind splurging, book your stay at a luxury downtown hotel or a lavish bayside resort. You can also rent a spacious private cottage within walking distance of the city's popular beaches. For a more affordable alternative, try a family-friendly hostel or quaint inn in a quiet residential area.
