Experience a variety of thrilling rides and a series of other attractions right on the beach at Belmont Park. The amusement park is also a great location to take a trip through history, since quite a few rides date back to the early 20th century when the park was opened. In addition to the historic wooden rollercoasters and swimming pools, the park features numerous modern rides, arcades, surfing simulators, ziplines, and more. You can rent various beach equipment, from umbrellas to bicycles, and if you get hungry, take your pick from several on-site restaurants. • Had such a great time here! We took our little one who is 2 and had a blast! Fun rides, an amazing arcade and right on the beautiful beach.
  • Belmont Park was fun. We went in the evening so it wasn't crowded. I'm sure during the summer it can be a much busier. We got the all inclusive wrist band which covered all of the attractions and ride...  more »
  • We took the kids to try the Giant Dipper and they love it. This place has something for everyone !!!

  • Two stars for the location, it's right by mission beach. The park didn't have many rides at all. I visited during the kids free all October long. I was told two paying adults but the $30 unlimited rides bands would get one child per adult in free. And that my one year old would be free. We drove there and ended up buying a unlimited ride pass for baby to find out he could only get on. Three rides. The other rides were very minimal, couple big rides for my son who could not get on anything over 48. My daughter was only one who could get on all rides that were under that unlimited band. We found other rides that we could not get on, like the extreme rides, rock climbing, zip line, rope walk. They said we would also have to buy a wrist ban if we wanted to ride unlimited on the extreme rides. All in all once we paid for two adult wrist bands and one wrist band for my one year old, we quickly notice that this wasn't worth $80. They still couldn't get on a lot off stuff because those rides had additional cost. I will never come back unless it's free so guess that will be never. But I will go to mission beach it was beautiful. Over priced food in the park also. My kids did have some fun but wanted to do the extreme rides and I couldn't afford to buy tickets after I purchased unlimited bands. They really should include all rides with wrist bands.
  • Great place to go with family and friends, especially in a hot sunny San Diego day... (mostly all the time) Jump in the beach to refresh and chill in the game rooms they have. Go in the roller coasters, ECT. Just very lovely to be close to the beach.
  • Here for the Halloween festivities. 4 y.o. daughter liked the merry go round, getting her face painted, painting a pumpkin, and riding the little train. What's nice on some rides, chaperones ride free.
  • Fun place, but all junk food. Nowhere can you buy anything healthy. Great place for kids, climbing wall, coaster, carousel, game room, ropes course, rides, booths, ocean, indoor pool.
  • Cute park on the water with shopping and the wave house and many different entertainment places including an amusement park. With the beach so close by and the year round great weather I don't see any real reason to go there, and it doesn't compare to the Santa Monica pier, but could be a fun night out for a family with young children for mini golf and the amusement park.
