  • My favorite of all so cal forests. I grew up here and moved back to Arrowhead after getting my degree, married, and children. Couldn't ask for a better place to raise your kids. The fishing in the lakes is incredible. If you have access to Arrowhead, I've attached a couple pics of bass caught last weekend. Tons of wildlife up here also including bear, fox, rabbit, coyote, mt. lion, deer, squirrels, and more. Lots of great off-roading, mountain biking trails, hikes, etc. The people that live on the mountain are for the most part great people as well. Very lucky to call these mountains my home. Just do us all a favor, take your broken sleds home in the winter and your camping trash in the summer. Thank you.
  • I have to drive through this area often for work so I don't stop that much but I'm so happy that we have some beautiful countryside preserved close to Los Angeles. Some cool places to hike and in the spring it's actually a lot greener than you might think.
  • It is very beautiful. I spent most of the day here. When i went there was a lot of wind SO it was a bit cold but I'm told that it's rarely like that. Over all. Great.
  • Very remote and quiet trails in this part of the woods. I would recommend taking a hike up the scaling cliffs of the mountains. Great views from up here!
  • Be sure to make reservations. We went there without making any reservations, in the middle of the night (we paid for the place the next morning. No big deal). We fortunately found only one vacant space, and we immediately claimed it ours and setup the tent and the fireplace. The place isn't for loud music and wild partying. True be told, we partied a little too loud and we received a warning the next morning.
