  • Great place for both kids and adults. Is a very nice clean large museum but has exhibits from dinosaurs to play rooms for help with kids love. But it’s interesting for adults as well. You could easily spend a couple hours if not more in there specially if you are with children. For locals is free of charge on Tuesdays from three to 8 o’clock closing.
  • The Witte is a local institution consistently providing a great place for educational art. The museum is very kid friendly and promotes engagement with the displays. Although I miss the character of the older building, a recent renovation updated the place for the better. Parking is a bit confusing the first time you visit but follow the signs and it will be no problem. This is a wonderful place to visit with children o spend a few hours learning about Texas life from thousands of years ago to the present collections and science displays.
  • I visited the Witte quite frequently as a child and loved it. When the renovations were completed, I decided to enjoy a free Saturday visiting the new exhibits. Everything is visually stunning but I miss the history portions of the museum. It’s very science focused now and while science is interesting, so was the Egyptian exhibit.
  • If you haven't been back since the revamp you should go. I was not a fan of this place before but after they remodeled it I love it. The money spent was well worth it. Good Job!!!
  • It was my granddaughter first time attending the museum & she was so excited & had so much fun. All I heard was "look grammy", I wanted to show her that learning can be fun. Thank you for having such a venue.
