  • It's a mix of a bar and museum. Grab a drink and check the place out, lots of different stuffed/mounted animals from all over.  more »
  • Being a Long Islander like Teddy Roosevelt, I enjoy and appreciate this museum moreso. I love quirky history plus type fun museums. If your like me and like fun things to visit, then visit this museum...  more »

  • Food was mediocre to average. We were quickly served and then asked once by a roaming gentleman about fifteen minutes later if everything was good. For the price not worth it. Would've liked them to actually put time into my food instead of getting it out as fast. Everyone's burger had a small portion of sauce (just a spot or two on the bun that we tried to spread), the pickles stacked all on top of one another instead of spread out, and the fries were lukewarm. If you want to see the place for the atmosphere just order a beer at the bar.
  • If you want an interesting experience grab a beer and go through their museum. We go to San Antonio often and this was the first time we've ever considered going into the museum. Boy were we missing out! Great experience. Will definitely go back.
  • I like old historical places. The live music was real good, especially the band downstairs. I don't know the name of the band but very talented. Food was okay. I went as part of a private party so I don't know if the food was catered by an outside source or not.
  • Very touristy, but hey if you are into seeing some cool taxidermy, old civil war memorabilia, and much more than hit up the museum. If you're military they offer a discount too! Great place to cool off during the hot summer.
  • It's 90% bar room and 10% museum... the only thing kid friendly about the atmosphere is a cluttered gift shop... a paranoid older female employee that eyes everyone like they are thieves further makes this a regrettable experience......
