  • On our way to Market Square, we passed by the Spanish Governor's Palace, and thought we would stop for a visit. It is not at all how you would visualize a palace; as a matter of fact, it is a rather s...  more »
  • This historic site is a great reminder that San Antonio was part of Spain... before it was Mexico, before it was Texas, before it was part of the US. "Palace" is a bit of a stretch for this building. ...  more »
  • Lovely docent gave us some instructional material for a personal walking tour. One level, various rooms and garden (wish it were in bloom). Small stop near the cathedral or walk to the market square. ...  more »

  • If you're on any sort of historical tour in San Antonio, this is an essential stop. I have been numerous times and always find it fascinating to be on those particular grounds. The history of Plaza de Armas is amazing, if you can find the right tour guide. Highly recommend visiting this place and taking your time to walk Main Plaza and visit Oliva Restaurant.
  • Not visited as often as other locations in the area but equally interesting place to see. Great information for architecture of the time and what restorations were done.
  • Awesome atmosphere!
  • We held our wedding reception here earlier this month and everything was fantastic! Charlotte was extremely helpful with coordinating the event and even provided recommendations for table/chair rentals and other services. We were so appreciative of her assistance since we were coordinating everything from Seattle. Thank you for all of your assistance, Charlotte!! The venue looked incredible! ~Carissa & Alex
