San Antonio River, San Antonio

(4.6/5 based on 2,600+ reviews on the web)
A river walk along San Antonio River begins in downtown San Antonio and features shops and restaurants with outdoor seating. The Alamo is located along the river, as are four other 18th-century Spanish missions. Consider taking a boat tour of the river through the heart of downtown. The river was first documented in 1535 and its banks hosted many battles during the Texas Revolution, when both sides attempted to use the waterway as a blockade. • The riverwalk is one of the attractions of San Antonio. A part is extremely tourist with one after the other restaurant and café. Another part is much quieter, with some runners and some more city view.
